Diaries of a Distance by s u n d a e_

I know, I should sleep instead of reading a fanfic. But, I have this sudden urge to read one. And I once thought that I had enough fanfic, at least it is enough until after today. But, guess that I'm wrong. While reading it, I know that I actually missed this kind of feeling. It was something and I really enjoy it.

There are a lot of my favorite parts from the story, but this one that I quote is what I like the most. It's sweet.. and bitter. It's bitter-sweet. Jae Wook was way too sweet and caring. He might looked tough, but he's soft inside. And I love all the things that he did for her. And his presence makes me wonder, why I always end up falling for the -jaes? Jae joong, jae won, jae wook, jae sung.. and i think there's more. All jaes were different from each other. The only similarity between them apart from their -jae is they are all lovable. Sigh. Life is too cruel or am I the one who being cruel to myself? 

He sounds sleepy already- probably tired from wondering around in the rain added to the disco. That’s good, ‘cause then he won’t remember as clearly what I’m about to say. “Do you think we’ll always remember each other?”

“Unless you have a car crash”, he shifted into a position that held me even closer, “and lose your memory, I think we will”, he replied sleepily.

“How do I remember your hugs? Or your kiss? How do I remember the way you look at me, Jae Wook?”

I was speaking more to myself than to him but surpisingly he replied, though I’m not sure it can be trusted since it sounded so drowsy. “If you forget my hugs then I’ll hug you. If you forget my kiss… then I’ll kiss you. If you forget how I look at you… then I’ll look at you ‘til you remember. OK?”

I smiled, “OK.”

But what if you won’t be there to remind me of those things? What would you do then Jae Wook? What would I do then? I closed my eyes and tightened my grip no his hand. No more thinking.
